September Community Call Recap: Product Updates, AI Conversations, and Community Feedback
The September ImmyBot Community Call involved partners from across the community for product updates, support news, upcoming events, and an open discussion with ImmyBot Founder, Darren Kattan, about the future of AI inside ImmyBot.
1. Support and Product Updates
Mark Gomez shared updates from the support team following the recent migration to Halo PSA. The team is continuing to refine workflows, with a customer portal launching soon and a major documentation refresh underway to ensure new features, screenshots, and guidance remain current.
On the product side, Derek Aucoin highlighted recent releases and upcoming development work:
- Version 84 Highlights
• Windows Update reporting and patch visibility
• Operating system lifecycle tracking
• Windows 11 readiness reporting
• Global Search for faster navigation across tenants, devices, software, and tasks
• Stability improvements in version 84.1 - Coming in Version 85
• Expanded MCP functionality and management tools
• Improved deployment workflows
• Better duplicate detection and parameter handling
• Enhanced software organization
• Improved script run history
• Additional workflow efficiency improvements
The team is also working on onboarding enhancements, self-service billing management, reboot prompt improvements, and additional reporting around maintenance slot utilization.
2. Community Event Updates

This month’s featured discussion focused on AI and how it should fit into ImmyBot’s future. Darren Kattan gathered feedback from partners on how they’re using tools like Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, and custom AI solutions.
Key ideas discussed included:

The community largely agreed that AI should help technicians work more efficiently while keeping approval workflows and permission controls in place.
