March 2026 ImmyBot Community Call Recap

Thanks to everyone who joined our March Community Call! This month’s session was packed with product updates, roadmap insights, workflow inspiration, and a lively discussion about the future of monitoring. If you missed it—or want a quick refresher—here’s everything we covered.

1. Team Updates & Event Season Kickoff

We kicked things off with a few fun updates:

  • Kayla, our newest Community Engagement Manager, officially joins the team (though in true ImmyBot fashion, she’s already on the road at Zero Trust World).
  • Anna transitions into her new Account Management role. If you need help with billing or account-level questions, she’s your go‑to.
  • The ImmyBot crew is heading to:
    • IT Nation Europe (London, next week)
    • N-Able Empower (Fort Lauderdale, April 13–15)

If you’ll be at any of these, come say hi!

2. Docs Site Revamp + New Onboarding Video Series

Our technical docs have moved! You can now find everything directly at immy.bot → Resources → Technical Docs.

We’ve also released the first batch of bite‑sized onboarding videos (8 videos, all under ~3 minutes).

These walk new techs through:

  • Unboxing a device
  • Setting up a new computer
  • Sending a first deployment

More advanced videos are in the works.

3. February Product Highlights

Here’s what the product and engineering teams have been shipping or actively building:

Getting Started Wizard

A more intuitive first‑touch experience for new users and new technicians.
Less overwhelm, clearer steps, cleaner UI.

Agent UI Improvements

Big upgrades to visibility and control over agent‑side tasks—plus better reboot notifications aimed at reducing those “naggy” pop‑ups and end‑user confusion.

Billing Widget Overhaul

A more intuitive, self‑service way to manage licensing, upgrades, and payment details right inside the platform.

Region-Aware Formatting

A top request from the UK, AU, and NZ communities—region‑appropriate defaults and formatting are now in development.

Warranty Information & PSA Sync

We’re working to restore Dell/HP warranty lookups (API key challenges continue—if you have a strong rep at Dell or HP, we’d love the intro).
This ties into a larger initiative: syncing computers directly into your PSA with far better contact mapping.

UI Glow-Up

Color coding, filters, and visual logic are getting significantly cleaned up to make navigation and selection more intuitive.

The Big One: RBAC Is Live

Role-Based Access Control has officially shipped!
If your instance hasn’t updated yet, hop into the latest release 78.0 to start building roles and permissions.

4. AutoMAYtion Madness: It’s Here!

We’re hosting Automation Madness both online and in person as a pre-day with MSPGeek.

If you’re attending MSPGeek in May, join us for our hands‑on automation workshop featuring leaders from:

Bring:

  • A workflow you’ve built or
  • An idea you want help building

You’ll walk away with feedback, hands‑on help, the confidence and knowledge you need to have leadership conversations around time and resource savings, and maybe a fun superlative trophy (“Most Negative Time Savings,” “Simplest Workflow,” etc.).

Submit your workflows / automations for a chance to win a free trip to MSPGeekCon! Apply here!

5. Community Spotlight: Logan Cook’s Defender Recommendations Workflow

Logan walked us through a high‑impact workflow his team uses to operationalize Microsoft Defender security recommendations.

Highlights:

  • Centralized enforcement of Defender‑recommended security controls
  • Markdown‑formatted parameters for easy readability
  • Registry‑based desired-state configuration
  • Considerations for AVD environments (some recommendations can break credential loading or FSLogix—use carefully)

6. Monitoring: What MSPs Want Next

We brought insights from a recent Channel Program session where non‑ImmyBot MSPs discussed the “next generation” of monitoring. Their top three needs lined up with themes we’re hearing across the community:

1️⃣ Smart Monitoring Layer

  • Highlighting root causes of slowdowns
  • Trend dashboards
  • Automatic collection of logs & snapshots tied to tickets

2️⃣ Intelligent Noise Reduction

  • Auto‑classification of alerts
  • AI‑suggested mute/promote recommendations
  • Pre‑built “starter pack” alert profiles

3️⃣ Thoughtful Human‑in‑the‑Loop AI

Not “AI everywhere,” but practical AI inside tickets—diagnosis, insight, context, recommendations.

This sparked a rich discussion among our power users about:

  • Agent‑level webhook‑style monitoring
  • Proactive vs. reactive alerting
  • Trend visibility for seasonal or cyclical issues
  • Desired-state monitoring of services
  • Smarter detection of “what’s actually broken”
  • AI’s role in triage, ticket routing, and root‑cause context

Darren also previewed upcoming open session capabilities, dynamic versioning service improvements, and long‑term plans for more intelligent, proactive detection inside ImmyBot.

7. RMM vs AI: What Should ImmyBot Prioritize?

We closed with a big question:

Should ImmyBot focus on building full RMM parity or doubling down on deep automation + AI?

The community overwhelmingly said:

AI, with strategic monitoring enhancements alongside it.

And don’t worry—we aren’t choosing one path exclusively.
But your feedback helps us prioritize what gets built fastest.

8. A Few Final Notes
